Calhoun County Sheriff

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama is responsible for taking in people arrested from any police agency in the county. They are also responsible for providing full service patrol and law enforcement for any area’s in the county that do not have a municipal police department. The Sheriff’s Office has has multiple divisions that cover the entire county, from patrol to narcotics, to maintaining the jail facility, it is a full compliment agency.

If someone is arrested by a deputy of the Sheriff’s Office Department they will be transported to the county jail. It is at the county jail that bail will need to be posted in order to have the person released.
